Fire Damage to a House in Southwest Cedar Rapids

The fire to this home started on the outside, but the damage was not contained to the exterior.  Unfortunately the process for fire restoration is not a quick one.  After the fire has been put out by the fire department there is typically a time frame that nothing can be touched due to investigation.  At this time the only thing SERVPRO can do is get the house boarded up. Any broken windows, doors or holes in the structure will be covered with plywood and/or tarps.  Once the fire department releases the home we can then go in and get started on the move out and demo of the affected areas.
